Founded in 1994, Horse Investments is Egypt's leading holding company dedicated to the advancement of equestrian sports in Egypt and the wider Middle East. Its mission is focused on three pillars: 1) importing, training, and selling European sport horses; 2) advising the institutions and investors building the future of the sport in the region, and 3) ProCavalli: the ultimate destination for the finest European equestrian products.

Karim Hamdy
ProCavalli could not have been assembled by anyone else. Across Europe and the Middle East, the breeders, trainers, and riders who know the sport call him one thing: El Proffo. The professor.
He has ridden for Egypt. He has won at the highest level of the Grands Prix. He stood on the podium as a rider, as a trainer, and as a chef d'équipe. And there is one other podium on which he stands alone: no one has sourced more winning sport horses or more top-end equestrian products to Egypt than him.
For decades, his connections across Europe have kept him a step ahead of everyone else — in the horses he finds, and in the equipment he sources.
Where the market sees three aisles — apparel, tack, nutrition — Karim sees one integrated system. The right cut of a jacket. The fit of a boot. The balance of a saddle. The science of a nutrition program. On the day that matters, they conspire to produce the results.
Every investment the rider will make, from the horse itself down to the nail in its shoe, has passed through thirty-five years of Hamdy’s meticulous research.

Mahmoud Ramadan
Mahmoud serves as Strategic Advisor to ProCavalli. A lifelong equestrian with deep roots in Egypt’s showjumping community, he understands that countless details shape the results in our sport, yet beneath them all lies a single, foundational truth: authentic riding is anchored on the connection between horse and rider, a connection built on trust and respect. This conviction shapes the vision he brings to ProCavalli: to connect riders and their horses with trustable and respectful world class equestrian products that enrich the riding experience and elevate performance in the show ring.
His counsel to ProCavalli is informed by a global perspective. For the past 16 years, he has held global leadership roles across online media, e-commerce, and impact investing at tech giants such as Yahoo, Google and Amazon across Dublin, London, and San Francisco. In the saddle, he has ridden and competed across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Having seen how the world's leading riders train and compete, he offers ProCavalli a view of international standards, helping bring that same caliber within reach of riders at home in Egypt.
Some stories actually come full circle! Thirty years ago, one week after he first sat on a horse, Mahmoud walked into Karim Hamdy’s office seeking counsel on how to start his riding career. A few clubs later, still searching for the standard he aspired for, Mahmoud found his way back to Karim, who eventually became his trainer. Today, as Karim launches ProCavalli, the e-commerce arm of Horse Investments, it's now Mahmoud’s turn to offer counsel – to bring together his equestrian and technology expertise to help ensure ProCavalli delivers a world-class experience, from the first click to the results in show ring.
