Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms apply when you use www.procavalli.com and when you buy from our online store. Placing an order means you accept them. Please read them together with our Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Who we are

The Pro Cavalli online store is operated by Horse Investment, a company registered in Egypt under Commercial Registration No. 34379 and Tax Registration No. 713512830, with its registered address at 152 El Tayaran St., El-Tawfik Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt (“Pro Cavalli”, “we”, “us”).

  • Email: info@procavalli.com
  • Phone and WhatsApp: (+2) 01201777306
  • Customer service hours: Saturday to Thursday, 11:00–19:00, except official holidays

Pro Cavalli imports and distributes equestrian equipment, rider wear, and horse feed and care products from leading European brands. We are the exclusive importer and distributor in Egypt of the brands marked as such on our website.

2. Using our store

  • To place an order you must be at least 21, the age of full legal capacity in Egypt, or be ordering with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. For junior riders, we ask a parent or guardian to complete the purchase.
  • If you create an account, keep your login details private. You are responsible for orders placed through your account unless you tell us it has been misused.
  • We may suspend an account or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent or abusive, for example after repeated refusal of cash-on-delivery orders.

3. Our products and authenticity

  • Everything we sell is new and genuine. It comes directly from the manufacturer or its authorised distribution channel and is imported into Egypt through official channels. Our Authenticity Guarantee is set out in the Refund & Returns Policy.
  • We describe each product as accurately as we can, including its origin, materials, sizing and certifications. Colours can look slightly different on screen. Natural materials such as leather vary from piece to piece, and this variation is not a defect.
  • Our size guides, fit tools and fit advice are given in good faith, based on the measurements and details you give us. Fit depends on the rider and the horse, so the final fit check is yours. Sized items keep the exchange rights set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.

4. Safety and responsible use

Riding carries risk. Good equipment reduces that risk but cannot remove it.

  • Helmets and body protectors protect you only when they fit correctly and are certified for your discipline. Replace a helmet after any fall or significant impact, even if you can’t see any damage, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance on its service life. Impact damage is not a manufacturing defect.
  • Competition rules. Each helmet and body protector page lists the safety standards the product is certified to. If you compete, check the current rules of the Egyptian Equestrian Federation (EEF) or the FEI for your class before you buy.
  • Feed and supplements. Feeding guidance on packs and on our website is general. Ask your vet before changing the diet of a horse with a medical condition. If your horse competes under EEF or FEI rules, you are responsible for checking feeds and supplements against the FEI Equine Prohibited Substances List. We will share the ingredient information we hold, but we cannot guarantee a product’s status for any competition.
  • Care and use. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for fitting, use, cleaning and storage. Leather tack needs regular cleaning and conditioning in Egypt’s heat and dust.

5. Availability

Each product page shows one of these states:

State What it means
In stock Held in our warehouse and ready to dispatch.
Order-in We order the item from the brand for you. The product page shows the expected lead time, and a deposit is paid at checkout (section 9).
Request a fitting Saddles and other items that must be fitted before sale. You book a fitting from the product page.
Request a quote Large items such as jumps, poles and arena equipment. You request a price, including delivery, from the product page.

We never show an unavailable item as in stock, and we never substitute a different product without your agreement. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

6. Prices

  • All prices are in Egyptian pounds (EGP) and include 14% VAT and any other applicable taxes.
  • The delivery charge is shown separately at checkout, before you pay.
  • Prices can change, but you pay the price in your order confirmation.
  • If a price is clearly wrong because of a technical or typing error, we will tell you before dispatch. You can then pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
  • Any “was” price shown next to a discount is a price at which we actually offered that product.

7. Placing an order

  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send your order confirmation by email or SMS. The confirmation lists the products, prices, delivery charge, expected delivery date and your return rights.
  • Before we dispatch a cash-on-delivery order above EGP 5,000, our team confirms it with you by phone. If we can’t reach you within 2 working days, we may cancel the order.
  • You may correct or change your order within 7 working days of our confirmation by contacting us. This does not apply once the order has been delivered, or to a special order imported or made to your specification. A change after dispatch may affect the delivery date.
  • We may decline or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, if payment fails, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If you have already paid, we refund you in full within 7 days.
  • Every order comes with an invoice (electronic receipt) showing our Commercial Registration and tax numbers, the items, the VAT-inclusive price and your return period.

8. Payment

The payment methods available at checkout depend on the order value:

Method Available for
Cash on delivery Orders up to EGP 15,000. Orders above EGP 5,000 are confirmed by phone first.
Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza) All orders, processed securely by our licensed payment provider.
Mobile wallets Orders within your wallet’s own limits.
Instapay or bank transfer All orders. We send the payment details with your order confirmation.
Bank instalment plans and buy-now-pay-later services Eligible cards and customers, where offered at checkout and subject to the provider’s approval.
  • We never see or store your full card number. Your bank may ask you to verify a card payment (3-D Secure).
  • Instalment plans and buy-now-pay-later services are credit agreements between you and the provider. The provider sets their terms and fees and decides who is approved.
  • Cash-on-delivery orders are paid in full to the courier on delivery. If you refuse cash-on-delivery orders more than once without a valid reason, we may ask you to pay in advance for future orders.

9. Special orders, fittings and quotes

Special orders (Order-in)

  • For items marked “Order-in”, you pay a deposit of 25% of the price at checkout. Your order confirmation shows the product, the VAT-inclusive price, the deposit, and the expected delivery date.
  • You can cancel and get the full deposit back until we place the order with the brand, which we confirm to you by email. If you cancel after that, we refund the deposit minus the costs we have already paid and cannot recover, such as international freight for your item. We show you those costs.
  • Once a special-order item is delivered, you have the normal 14-day return right, unless the item was made to your specification.
  • Items made to your specification cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Examples are made-to-measure boots, custom colours, embroidery, and saddles built to order. The product page tells you if an item falls into this group.

Saddles and fittings

  • We sell saddles after a fitting, because a saddle that doesn’t fit the horse causes pain and injury. You can request a fitting from any saddle’s product page.
  • In Greater Cairo, fittings take place at your yard. Outside Greater Cairo, we start with a remote consultation using photos and measurements.
  • Where we offer a trial, it lasts 3 days and runs under a signed Saddle Trial Agreement, with a deposit held against the saddle. The agreement says how the saddle may be used during the trial and what happens if it is marked or damaged.

Quoted items

Jumps, poles, arena equipment and bulk orders are sold on a written quote that includes delivery. The quote says how long it is valid. The order is confirmed when you accept the quote and pay the deposit it states.

10. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate.

11. Returns, refunds and warranty

Our Refund & Returns Policy covers your right to return or exchange, the free first size exchange, the Authenticity Guarantee and warranty claims. Nothing in these terms reduces your rights under Egypt’s Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

12. Trade accounts

Riding clubs, studs, stables, trainers and other businesses can apply for a trade account, with trade pricing, standing orders and scheduled deliveries, by emailing info@procavalli.com. A separate trade agreement governs trade accounts. If you buy for professional or commercial use, the consumer rights in Law No. 181 of 2018 may not apply to that purchase, and the trade agreement governs instead.

13. Reward Program

Our Reward Program has its own terms, published on our website. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If an order is returned or cancelled, we adjust the points earned on it.

14. Promotions and discount codes

Each promotion runs for the stated period, and while the stated stock lasts. Unless a promotion says otherwise, you can use one discount code per order, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, and they do not apply to trade prices. Competitions and giveaways have their own published rules, and we notify the Consumer Protection Agency before running them, as the law requires.

15. Reviews and content you share

If you post a review, photo or comment on our store, you confirm that it is your own and honest. You also give us permission to show it on our website and social media with your first name and initial. We don’t edit reviews to change their meaning and we don’t publish fake ones. We may remove content that is offensive, unlawful or unrelated to the product.

16. Intellectual property

The Pro Cavalli name and logo, and the text, photographs and videos on our website, belong to Pro Cavalli or the people who license them to us. The names and logos of the brands we sell belong to their owners. You may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

17. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the website. That includes trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, collecting content or prices by automated means, and placing orders in someone else’s name without their permission. Misuse may also be an offence under Egypt’s Anti-Cyber and Information Technology Crimes Law No. 175 of 2018.

18. Our responsibility to you

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We are not responsible for loss caused by using a product in a way the manufacturer doesn’t instruct, by normal wear and tear, or by events outside our control.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability where Egyptian law does not allow it to be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Law.
  • For trade customers buying for business use, our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order.

19. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Examples are customs or port delays, courier disruption, natural events and government action. If this happens, we will tell you promptly. If your delivery is late, you can cancel for a full refund as set out in our Shipping Policy.

20. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

21. Law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems are solved in one conversation.
  • You can also contact Egypt’s Consumer Protection Agency on hotline 19588 or at cpa.gov.eg.
  • The competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt decide any dispute. Disputes under the Consumer Protection Law are heard by the Economic Courts, as that law provides.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the law changes or when we change how we work. The version published when you placed your order applies to that order.

23. Language

These terms are published in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
